Al is an experienced architect, project manager and business innovation leader. Currently serving as Consultant Innovation Director for RAD London Development at Royal Albert Dock, he is spearheading the creation of a cutting-edge science, technology, and creative industries innovation cluster in East London.
 
Previously, Al held the position of Director at the University of Oxford Science and Innovation Campus, where he played a pivotal role in developing a 14.7-hectare Innovation District launchpad for the Oxford Cambridge ARC region. As the Managing Director of Cory Consult Limited, he continues to provide strategic guidance to various projects.
 
A qualified architect, project manager, and business innovation leader, Al's expertise spans client relationships, operations, strategic briefing, design & project management, business development, and value & risk management. His portfolio includes successful projects in Deep Tech Innovation, healthcare, academic research, hospitality, education, and mixed-use developments.

Oliver Joy
Atkins Realis
Oliver is an Associate Director at AtkinsRéalis with over a decade of experience in project management and building surveying. A Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS), he specialises in educational infrastructure, particularly SEND and mainstream education. Oliver excels in managing complex challenges in pressurised environments, delivering exceptional outcomes. Passionate about making a difference, he is dedicated to community value and promoting environmental sustainability.
